WILLS AND PROBATE
Making a Will ensures that your wishes for the distribution of your assets on your death will be undertaken by a person or persons appointed by you as Executor.
Arrangements can be made to provide for children which can be of great significance especially if you are separated.
We are able to advise you on how best to prepare a will and are happy to make a home visit if you wish. We are sensitive to the emotional strain you may be placed under at a time of bereavement. We therefore do our best not only to ensure that your matter is dealt with quickly and efficiently but also in a sensitive and personal way.
We have experience in the application of the Intestacy Rules where it transpires that a relative may not have made a will. We are also able to assist with other related legal matters such as
- powers of attorney
- the creation of trusts
- probate disputes
- deeds of variation
We are able to provide general advice concerning Inheritance Tax and possible savings available.
In relation to probate, whether the estate is large or small, we can assist in obtaining the necessary Grants that are required and distributing the estate.
Home visits are available, please ask for further details
